Высота 15 см, цветы крупные, белые, розовеющие. Цветет в апреле-мае, очень обильно. Эфемероид.
Листья зеленые.
Все анемоны дубравные хорошо у нас зимуют и не требуют специального ухода.
Достаточно быстро разрастается и образует красивые куртинки.
Растет в легкой полутени. 
Красиво сочетается со всеми другими весенними анемонами и анемонеллами.
